Two things have changed since I posted the flyer for this weekend’s CKDC event.

#1: Time

The time has changed slightly. It was originally posted as starting at 4:00-ish. We will be moving it back to 5:00-ish. We would have moved it back further but apparently one of the key competitors has scheduled his bikini waxing at 7:00 in Tulsa. SO…

Practice starts @: 5:00-ish

Timed Qualifying @: 5:30-ish

Races start @: 6:00-ish

#2: BuddyRace

The CKDC Board is changing the format to a BuddyRace in order to help out the shortsighted douchebags who have yet to acquire a CKDC Approved race bike. Here’s how it will work. (henceforth those without bikes will be referred to as bitches)

After timed qualifying we will draw names to pair folks up. Bitches will get a 5 minute practice session to familiarize themselves with their new race bike and the course. Racers and bitches will each run half of the race. (which half depends on what each Racer chooses) At the end of the race you bitches will receive your own points. (The Board has yet to determine whether they will be full or partial points)

One other thing to note, Brother Andy may provide us with lights and power thereby allowing us the opportunity to race into the night. Sure, the night races won’t be points-paying events but if that’s all you’re worried about you should probably stick to racing some assbag series at TMX.

A round of FootDown is sure to take place.
