Some things came up and I didn’t make it as far as I had intended on the trail work but we did get some good stuff done. Major thanks to Grant and my dad for the help! Thanks also to Phil for helping me scout some stuff on Saturday. The offers of help from others was much appreciated but we just weren’t able to get on the same schedule. I believe the new “un-crossing” loop is just about rideable and a few of the extra expert loops are ready. I think with 1 more day the whole loop will be connected. Still need to finish the expert loops and put up some signage. It’s never gonna be “done” as we’ll always be improving and changing but it’s close to ready for a good hard ride day. Below is a pic of one little bench cut and also a before-n-after shot of a fun step-up thing I cut in.

Most of the expert sections will be tough in the sense that you’ve gotta be a decent enduro-ish rider but a few will be expert based on the fact that you’ve gotta jump something a little spooky. The Chicken Creek “hare n’ hound” loop caters to all riders.
