Last night was night #1 of the Monster Jam thing at the BOK Center. It was supposed to be a quad flat track on polished concrete with coke syrup down for traction. Well, the folks in charge decided to forgo the coke syrup so we ended up racing on what was basically a hockey rink. Damn slick. I was the only one there on a bone stock 450 while everyone else had full flat track setups. Turned out that the stock setup with motocross tires was the way to go. Big advantage to me and I ended up winnin'. If you can call it that. More later on that whole thing.
The loser part of this post is that I didn't take any pics. Will do that tonight as we've gotta go back for an autograph session and another night of hillbilly heaven. I gotta say that Thornill put together a great group of guys and we all had a really good time without taking any of this too serious. We talked with some of the monster truck guys and they were all really cool too. Should be another fun night tonight.
